It was a beautiful day Saturday and it was one of those rare occasions when Paul didn't have to work. We left the house and stopped for donuts, of course. Then we walked around and enjoyed seeing everything.
Ava took a picture of Paul and I
I guess it pays to arrive early because a vendor approached Paul and the boys and offered to give them bow and arrows for free if they walked around with them. He said it was a walking advertisement for his booth. That was such a fun surprise!
Of course, this guy was having the best time with his camo bow & arrow and his new firefighter hat.
Then we ran into more friends. Roman and his friend, Owen in a tree. (Roman climbs trees wherever we go) I wish we had more established trees in our yard. He loves climbing.
Before we left we stopped and listen to a really good band playing Jazz.
It was a gorgeous day for a fall festival. I'm so glad we were able to go. We spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing and then headed to our Saturday night service at church.
Here is a pic of Hudson sitting in my lap during church. I love that he still wants to sit in my lap all the time.
Sunday morning Roman had a soccer game. They won!!
We had another beautiful fall day for being outside, so we packed up the kid's bikes and headed to one of our favorite parks.
He was so happy!
We ended the evening at home with tacos for dinner. We also had to work on a family presentation for Classical Conversations (our homeschool enrichment) on Monday morning. It was a perfect weekend.
